The CompactAIR Center is designed for low to medium sized supply air volumes at high resistances.
The corresponding exhaust boxes (optional Zerobox) are directly assigned as an accessory.

The casing is a functional design made of galvanized sheet steel. The double-skinned panels, insulated with mineral wool, with a thickness of 20mm, are lined with sound absorbing surface on the inside.
The Impellers together with the motor as a unit are balanced at two levels according to G2.5 to DIN 1940.

Motor and motor protection:
All Rosenberg fans are equipped with direct driven external rotor motors. All our fans have motor protection through thermal contacts in the motor windings as standard. The motors apply to protection class IP44/IP54.
The drive has due to an external rotor motor a space saving, compact and attractive design. The motor is fitted within the impeller, which enables the best possible cooling. For this reason a 100% variable speed control can be guaranteed. V-belts, additional tension bars and motor mounting devices are not necessary. Only well-dimensions ball-bearings, fitted on both sides and life time greased are used.
Both ball-bearing seats are ground to high precision in one work process to eliminate any vibrations.
External rotor motors have extremely low starting currents. The windings comply to isolation class F.
In addition the windings have a standard moisture impregnation.
Easy change of filters by pushing bar.
Z-Line-Filters (Class G4) with long durability included.
Z-Line Filters (Class F7) for pollen protection on request.
Electric heat with PTC-elements:
PTC- heaters are a new generation of elements for heating. More efficient heating performances can be achieved by optimized functions. Heating power is regulated in reference to the airflow by self-control function. Combustion of dust and as a result can not occur endangering of health.
Additional saftey is guaranteed by self-limiting temperature control.
Warm water coil:
Coils with aluminium lamellas and water connection pipes with 3/4 inch outer thread. Saftey is guaranteed by frost protection thermostat. Air temperature increase 70°C at supply water temperature 80°C.
The electrical connection
CompactAIR install on both front ends of the mounting places with screws (M8) and suitable fasteners on load-carrying bottom or consoles. The build-in position is any, but has to be possible to open the maintenance cap. Tube system mount on the connecting flange with connecting collars. Connecting collars decrease the impact noise transfer.
Air flow control:
The compact controller can control the temperature as well the air volume (5-step-speed-control).

There are two user levels available:
Operator: Parameter menu: Heating reated value, Filter changed, Buzzing, Dialog language
Installer: internal parameter menu: Extr. devices(slaves), Min. restrict Air, Min. restrict on/off
Coeff. min limit, Select regulation, proportional band, Integral time, Defrosting time,
Parameter reset, Delivery variant
Maximum of four devices be operated via a control panel (RTE-TR).

The parallel operation of an exhaust fan is possible.

Air performance curves:
The performance curves for these fan types have been measured in mounting position D and indicate the pressure increase ∆pfa as a function of the air flow.
The bordered values printed in the performance curve diagrams show the "A" weighted LWA6 sound power level (fan outlet). The "A" weighted sound pressure level LPA at a distance of 1 metre is calculated approximately by deducting 7 db(A) from the "A" weighted sound power level. It is importmant to note that the reflection and room characteristic as well as natural frequencies influence the sound pressure levels a different way.
