Bird Protection Grill:
A coated grill RAL 9005 (black), ensures an optimal protection. Inlet grill possible on request.
Efficiency optimized backward curved impellers made of aluminium. Impellers are mounted directly to the rotor of the external roto r motor and are balanced dynamically at two levels together with the rotor according to quality level G 6.3 to DIN 1940.
Used are external rotor motors with IP 44/54 according to DIN EN 60034-5 with moisture protection, ball bearing mounted and with thermal contacts as motor protection.
Motor protection class IP 54.
The drive has due to an external rotor motor a space saving, compact and attractive design. The motor is fitted within the impeller, which enables the best possible cooling. For this reason a 100% variable speed control can be guaranteed.
V-belts, additional tension bars and motor mounting devices are not necessary. Only well-dimensioned ball-bearings, fitted on both sides with long life time grease are used. Both ball-bearing seats are ground to superfinish in one work process to eliminate any vibrations. External rotor motors have extremely low starting currents. The windings comply to isolation class F. In addition the windings have a standard moisture impregnation.
For 60Hz Types (possible on request)
The motors are equipped with a built-on terminal box in protection class IP 54 with easy access for electrical connection after removal of the rain cover. Upon request the isolator switch (against extra charge) can be mounted on the casing of the fan.

Air performance curves:
The performance curves for these fan types have been measured on a inlet side chamber testing platform according to DIN ISO EN 5801 in mounting position A (free inlet; free outlet) and are valid for air with a density of 1.2 kg/m³ and indicate the pressure increase Dpfa as a function of the air flow.
The bordered values printed in the performance curve diagrams show the A weighted LWA8 sound power level (fan outlet).
Determination of A-weighted LWA5 sound power level at fan inlet according to DIN 45 635, Part 38 is calculated as follows:
LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA6 [dB(A)] -3dB
The "A" weighted sound pressure level LPA at a distance of 1 meter is calculated approximately by deducting 7 db(A) from the "A" weighted sound power level. It is important to note that the reflection and room characteristic as well as natural frequencies influence the sound pressure levels a different way. Rosenberg fans have a specific (pressure-) ratio < 1,05 (pressure < 5000 Pa).

Roof fans vertical outlet
From DVW 450-4 E to DVW 500-6-6 D
Base frame with bolts for tightening of inlet accessories and rectangular inlet cone made of galvanized steel. Rain hood and square casing made from seawater resistant aluminium. Motor supporting plate with integrated protection guard made from plastic coated round bar steel.
From DVW 560-4 D to DVW 800-8-8 K D
Base frame with bolts for tightening of inlet accessories and rectangular inlet cone made of galvanized steel and additionally plastic coated. Rain hood and square casing made from seawater resistant aluminium. Motor supporting plate with integrated protection guard made from plastic coated round bar steel up to size 710. Motor support made from welded and plastic coated rectangular tube as well as bird protection guards with size 800 and 900.
Fans are equipped with backward curved high efficiency impellers made of seawater resistant aluminium, mounted onto the rotor of a speed controllable external rotor motor. two levels according to quality level G 6.3 DIN/ISO 1940. Motor closed, protection I class IP 44/54 with protection against humidity and thermal contacts wired in windings from size 355.
Maintenance free ball bearings, closed on both sides, sealed for life. Easy access to the terminal box (not connected) in IP 54 under rain hood. Sizes 800 and 900 with backward curved high efficiency impeller, made from seawater resistant aluminium. Balanced on two levels according to quality level G 6.3 DIN/ISO 1940. Impeller installed on motor shaft of an IEC standard motor, version B5. Motor in protection class IP 54, mounted under a removable hood component outside the air stream. Easy access to terminal box in protection class IP 55 after removal of the hood component.
