 Features and Constructions:

 The  Rosenberg-Roof  Fans  are  used  for  the  ventilation  of  apartments,  stores,  supermarkets,  workshop halls, baths, kitchens, dining rooms,  storage  rooms, garages, stables and many more. The fans are suitable for the assembly on flat-, pent- , saddle- and shed roofs. The broad roof-fan product range offers for each application the optimal solution.

 The  DVES  series  distinguish themselves by high volume flows at medium pressure difference. An extensive accessories product range for the roof mounting or pipe connection for highest requirements optimally rounds off the portfolio.

 Classification of the fan series:
 NRVU     = Non Residential Ventilation Units
 UVU     = Unidirectional Ventilation Units

 Casing:

 Vertical type DVES:
 Casing with integrated sound attenuation cover with 50mm insulation made of seawater-resistant aluminum.

 Base frame for DVES:
 Inlet nozzle made of galvanized sheet

 Coating:
 Standard Coating RAL 7030 / RAL 7035 or other coating, possible on request against etra charge.

 Bird Protection Grill:
 A coated grill RAL 9005 (black), ensures an optimal protection. Inlet grill possible on request.

 Impellers:

 up to size 400 to 560:
 Backward  curved  impellers made of plastic. Impellers are mounted directly to the rotor of the external rotor motor and are balanced  dynamically at two levels together with the rotor according to quality level G 6.3 to DIN 1940.

 from size 630 to 710:
 Backward  curved  impellers  made of aluminium. Impellers are mounted directly to the rotor of the external rotor motor and are balanced dynamically at two levels together with the rotor according to quality level G 6.3 to DIN 1940.

 Motors:

 Used  are  external rotor motors with IP 44/54 according to DIN EN 60034-5 with moisture protection, ball bearing mounted and with thermal contacts as motor protection.

 Motors apply to protection class IP44/IP54

 The  drive  has  due to an external rotor motor a space saving, compact and attractive design. The motor is fitted within the impeller,  which  enables  the  best  possible  cooling.  For  this  reason a 100% variable speed control can be guaranteed.
 V-belts, additional tension bars and motor mounting devices are not necessary. Only well-dimensioned ball-bearings, fitted on both sides with long life time grease are used. Both ball-bearing seats are ground to superfinish in one work process  to eliminate any vibrations. External rotor motors have extremely low starting currents. The windings comply to isolation class
 F. In addition the windings have a standard moisture impregnation.

 Electrical Connection:

 The  motors  are  equipped with a built-on terminal box in protection class IP 54 with easy access for electrical connection after removal of the rain cover. Upon request the isolator switch (against extra charge) can be mounted on the casing of the fan.

 Important Notes:

 Air performance curves:
 The performance curves for these fan types have been measured on a inlet side chamber testing platform according to DIN ISO EN  5801 in  mounting position A  (free inlet; free outlet) and are valid for air with a density of 1.2 kg/m³ and indicate the pressure increase Dpfa as a function of the air flow.

 Noise Levels:
 The  bordered  values printed in the performance curve diagrams show the A weighted LWA8 sound power level (fan outlet).
 Determination  of A-weighted LWA5 sound power level at fan inlet according to DIN 45 635, Part 38 is calculated as follows:

 Size 450:         LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA8 [dB(A)] +3dB
 Size 500:         LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA8 [dB(A)] +1dB
 Size 560:        LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA8 [dB(A)] +2dB
 Size 630:        LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA8 [dB(A)] +1dB
 Size 710:        LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA8 [dB(A)] +4dB

 The "A" weighted  sound pressure level LPA at a distance of 1 meter is calculated approximately by deducting 7 db(A) from the "A" weighted  sound  power  level. It  is  important  to note that the reflection and room characteristic as well as natural frequencies  influence   the  sound  pressure  levels  a  different way.  The octave sound power level LWA at octave medium frequency you can find on the table on each fan type page.

 ErP-Information:
 Rosenberg fans have a specific (pressure-) ratio < 1,05 (pressure < 5000 Pa).

 Service Life:
 For  maximum  service  life of Rosenberg products please beware of the maintenance hints on the manual for each product type.

 Recycling and disposal:
 For recycling and disposal of Rosenberg products comply with applicable locally requirements and regulations.

Roof fans vertical outlet with 50mm sound absorbing casing

Base frame with bolts for tightening of inlet accessories and retracted inlet cone made of galvanized steel. Rain cover with 50mm sound absorbing made from seawater resistant aluminium. Motor supporting plate with integrated protection guard made from plastic coated round bar steel.

Fans are equipped with backward curved high efficiency plastic impellers up to size 560, from size 630 made from seawater resistant aluminium, mounted onto the rotor of a speed controllable external rotor motor. Balanced on two levels according to quality level G 6.3 DIN/ISO1940. Motor closed, protection class IP 44/54 with protection against humidity and thermal contacts wired in windings from size 355.

Maintenance free ball bearings, closed on both sides, sealed for life. Easy access to the terminal box (not connected) in IP 54 under rain hood.
