Description:
Rosenberg high efficient centrifugal fans of the ERNE/ERND series are ideal for the movement of clean or light dusty air, light aggressive gases and steam. They are not gastight. Allowed temperature of the ventilated medium is -30°C up to 60°C.
Application areas:
Garage / Workshops / Warehouses / Industrial buildings / Schools / Parking facilities / Retail stores / Ex protection / Greenhouses / Petrol station
Reference to Directives:
Declaration of incorporation and operating instruction are according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, CE identification in accordance to EMC-Directive 2014/30/EU, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the Ecodesign-Directive 2009/125/EC.

Casing:
Casings are made of galvanized sheet steel. Side parts and the spiraly shaped guide plate are connected with rivets.
Motor fastening:
With size 180 and 200 the motors are flanged on.
From size 225 the motors are mounted on a console.
Coating:
Plastic coating is available on request.

Impellers:
The impellers are high efficient and balanced dynamically on two quality levels G2.5 to DIN 1940.
Forward curved centrifugal impellers made of galvanized sheet steel
The plastic inlet cones are screwed into the casing.

Motor and motor protection:
Three-phase IEC standard motors of series B3 with protection class IP55, isolation class F in 2-pole and 4-pole execution are used. Pole-changeable, voltage-controllable and converter driven motors are available on request, when using these motors the expensive belt-driven construction becomes unnecessary. Motors driven by a frequency converter allow variable speed control in contrary to belt driven fans (controllable areas see fan curves).
Single A.C. motor on request.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Electrical connection:
The motor connection is directly in the terminal box on the IEC standard motor.
The motor has to be connected according to the wiring diagram and in accordance with valid regulations and local laws. In case of operation with a frequency converter please check the operation manual.

Installation:
Position of casing / Direction of rotation:
The position of casing and the direction of rotation are in accordance with the EUROVENT directive.
When ordering please indicate position of casing and direction of rotation!

Important notes:
Air performance curves:
The performance curves for these fan types have been measured in mounting position D (installed on the pressure side and open on the suction side) and show the total pressure increase ∆pt as a function of the air flow. The dynamic pressure ∆pd2 refers to the flange cross section at the outlet side of the fan.
Noise levels:
The bordered values printed in the performance curve diagrams show the "A" weighted LWA6 sound power level (fan outlet). Determination of "A" weighted LWA5 sound power level at fan inlet:
LWA5 [dB(A)] = LWA6 [dB(A)] - 3 dB
The figures in the air performance curves quoted in circles are the "A" decibel figures which are the sound power levels LWA6, at the outlet side in duct systems. The "A" sound pressure level LPA at a distance of 1 metre is obtained approximately by deducting 7 dB(A) from the "A" sound power level. It is important to note that the reflection and room characteristic as well as natural frequencies differently influence the sound pressure levels. The relative octave sound power level LWArel at octave medium frequency are shown on each fan type data table.
Classification of the fan series:
NRVU = Non Residential Ventilation Units
UVU = Unidirectional Ventilation Units
Erp-Information:
Rosenberg fans have a spezfic (pressure-) ratio < 1,05 (pressure < 5000 Pa).
Service life:
For maximum service life of Rosenberg products please beware of the maintenance hints on the manual for each
product type.
Recycling and disposal:
For recycling and disposal of Rosenberg products comply with applicable locally requirements and regulations.
