Casing
The housing consists of a frame made of an extruded aluminium profile with 2 chambers and plastic edges, as well as double-skinned, 20mm thick panels made of galvanised steel sheet metal with insulation made of non-combustible, sound and heat-insulated glass wool mats. As standard, one casing wall is left open opposite the impeller. EC Unoboxes are suitable for outdoor installation with appropriate accessories.
Impellers
Backward curved high-performance impellers of aluminium are used. The impellers are mounted directly on the rotors of the external rotor motors and are dynamically balanced on two levels with the rotor according to quality level G2.5 as per DIN ISO 1940.
Electrical connection
The electrical connection for size 50 is done on the lead-out terminal box, from size 67 directly at the motor terminal space (cable routing provided). Integrated motor protection is indicated via an alarm relay. In the “open loop” (standard) model, the speed is continuously provided by a 0-10V signal or a potentiometer (accessory).

As standard, one casing wall is left open. Unoboxes are suitable for outdoor installation with appropriate accessories.
Impellers
Unoboxes up to size 450 have backward curved centrifugal impellers made of plastic with galvanised steel support plates. Fans with a size 500 and larger have backward curved high-performance impellers made of aluminium. The impellers are mounted directly on the rotors of the external rotor motors and are dynamically balanced on two levels with the rotor according to quality level G2.5 as per DIN ISO 1940.
Electrical connection
The terminal box is affixed to the motor housing and can be supplied with flying leads on request.
Direction of rotation
The direction of rotation of the impellers is standard clockwise rotation (seen from the suction side). Counter-clockwise operation will cause overload damage to the motor.

Casing
The flexible and compact EC Unoboxes ME are designed to handle air volumes with higher temperatures. A removable service door, an integrated drip pan with condensation drain nozzle, plus special sealing lips are included. The housing supporting frames are double chamber aluminum profiles with corners made of plastic and double skinned (20 mm) galvanized sheet steel panels insulated with non-inflammable, noise and temperature insulating fibreglass mats. Optionally, the outlet side (at the top or the side) can be selected. A changing of the air outlet and side panel at the installation site is possible at any time by setting of the flexible panels.
Impellers
Backward curved high-performance impellers made of aluminium are used. The impellers together with the impeller hub are dynamically balanced at two levels according to quality level G2.5 as per DIN ISO 1940.
Electrical connection
The integrated motor protection is signaled via alarm relay. The electrical connection takes place on the preassembled isolator switch in the housing. In the version „open-loop control“(standard) the speed is adjusted via 0-10V Signal or a potentiometer (accessory). The connection hereto takes place directly at the EC-Controller inside the EC Unobox ME.
