Safety instruction in Operating Instructions for Rosenberg fans.
The fans can present dangers from live electrical parts and from rotating equipment which may
cause injury and /or damage. To prevent injury and/or damage, sufficient safety precautions must be
taken.
The standard axial, bifurcated, roof and centrifugal fans are not equipped with a shock-hazard
protection, since their preferred place of installation is in tubing systems
When installing the fan, always make sure to verify that the impeller may not be touched. If this may
not be excluded altogether, then the installation of a hazard-shock protection in accordance with the
applicable standards will be required.
Only use the fan after it has been securely mounted and fitted with protection guards to suit the application.
Installation, electrical and mechanical maintenance and service should only be undertaken by qualified engineers.
The fan must be used according to its design parameters, with regard to performance and mediums passing through it.
It is the responsibility of the users to satisfy themselves that the fan is suitable for the conditions of use and that the installations and regular maintenance is carried out by personnel with the appropriate skills and in accordance with these instructions.
